Magnite Inc. (NASDAQ: MGNI) insider Katie Seitz Evans, president of product and operations, sold 20,000 shares worth $480,000 on August 6 while retaining nearly $12 million in company stock. The transaction was executed under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on August 28, 2025, meaning it was scheduled in advance and not influenced by inside information.

The sale came just after Magnite reported strong quarterly results, with connected TV revenue growing 36% to $97 million and now accounting for more than half of total revenue. The company also raised its full-year guidance, citing connected TV as the primary driver of growth. Evansโ€™ remaining 497,000 shares are worth about $12 million at current prices, even after cashing in options with a low strike price of $5.16.

Magnite is a leading independent programmatic advertising platform with a $3.5 billion market cap and $742 million in trailing 12-month revenue. Its two-sided marketplace connects publishers with advertisers, and the company posted $166.9 million in net income over the same period. Evans was one of five executives to execute similar trades that day, all under prearranged plans, so the activity doesnโ€™t signal a sudden exodus.

The timing raises questions about future growth, especially as Magniteโ€™s connected TV revenue is expected to slow to 29-32% in the third quarter. Investors will watch closely to see if the company can sustain its momentum beyond its strongest channel. While Magnite remains a key player in digital advertising, its stock wasnโ€™t included in recent high-potential stock picks by The Motley Fool, suggesting some analysts see more attractive opportunities elsewhere.
