The KOKO show capped off their first tour in 11 years, and its live recording will drop on October 9

The indie legends reunited for their first shows together in 11 years last year , playing a final show at London’s KOKO on December 15. During the night, Babyshambles brought out Carl Barât to also play The Libertines’ ‘What Katie Did’, and played ‘Wolfman’ for the first time in 20 years.

Now, Pete Doherty and co. will release their new album ‘Live At KOKO’ through Strap Originals on October 9. It will be their newest music since 2013’s ‘Sequel To The Prequel’.

A live 4-track EP of the first four songs from the set will also drop today (August 7), while the CD and digital version will contain four bonus tracks: ‘La Belle et la Bête’, ‘What Katie Did (featuring Carl Barât), ‘Lost Art Of Murder’ and ‘Wolfman’.

The album will be available to buy digitally, on CD and on vinyl – pre-order the album here and see the tracklisting below:

‘Introduction by Bill Bailey / Killamangiro’ ‘Delivery’ ‘I Wish’ ‘Sedative’ ‘Beg Steal Or Borrow’ ‘There She Goes’ ‘Unstookie Titled’ ‘8 Dead Boys’ ‘Baddie’s Boogie’ ‘Pipedown’ ‘Fuck Forever’

Speaking to NME recently about their return , Doherty explained that the reunion only became possible once he and guitarist Mick Whitnall had both been clean for a number of years. He also revealed that original guitarist Patrick Walden – who passed away in June – was meant to be involved in the comeback.

The singer-songwriter said Walden’s death was “a real trigger to get it done”. “My first thought was of just seeing his face up there while we’re playing and that’ll be an important part of it,” he continued.
