Bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) opened at $63,078.89, down 0.3% from yesterdayโs opening price. The price of bitcoin fell in early trading to $62,542.70 at 7:27 a.m. ET.
Ethereum ( ETH-USD ) opened at $1,689.88, up 0.2% from yesterday's open. The price of ethereum fell in early trading, moving to $1,667.69 at 7:30 a.m. ET.
After steady declines last week, bitcoin and ethereum prices have found some footing to start this week and could begin to break out of a value slump that took bitcoin prices below $60,000 on Friday.
