The Indiana Fever needed a spark Monday night. They got one from Caitlin Clark 's game-winning shot.

But after the final buzzer sounded in Washington , it was Clark's message to Sophie Cunningham that may have revealed even more about what's happening behind the scenes in Indiana.

The Fever escaped with a dramatic 78-76 victory over the Washington Mystics when Clark drilled a deep 3-pointer with just 1.2 seconds remaining. The shot instantly became one of the defining highlights of Indiana's season so far.

Following the victory, Cunningham shared a collection of photos and celebrations from the game on Instagram. Included in the post was a humorous cartoon meme featuring Cunningham, Clark and head coach Stephanie White discussing the game-winning sequence.
