DouYu International CEO Shaojie Chen Steps Down, Simin Ren Promoted To Sole CEO Role

(RTTNews) - Friday, DouYu International Holdings Limited (DOYU) announced that Chief Executive Officer Shaojie Chen has tendered his voluntary resignation from his position for personal reasons, effective August 6, 2026.

Following this, the Wuhan, China-headquartered company appointed Simin Ren as its sole CEO and Chairperson of the Board, effective August 7. She currently serves as Co-CEO of the company.

Also, the company appointed Jie Gao as its Vice President of Investment and director of its board of directors. Previously, Gao served as Investment Director of the company since June 2018.

DOYU closed trading at $4.55, down 4.61 percent on the Nasdaq.
