Florida State offers 2029 athlete in Pennsylvania

Florida State has another target that they're trying to get a leg up on in the 2029 recruiting class. They have extended an offer to athlete prospect Coron Russell Jr. out of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

"Blessed to Receive a Scholarship Offer from Florida State University!! #AGTG," Russell announced on social media.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder has already received close to 20 offers. They include the Ohio State Buckeyes , Michigan Wolverines , Texas A&M Aggies , Washington Huskies , Indiana Hoosiers, South Carolina Gamecocks, and more.

As a freshman, Russell made waves as a safety. He racked up 52 tackles (28 solo), nine tackles for loss, two sacks, and four pass breakups. Russell went on to earn Freshman All-American honors from Rivals and MaxPreps. In addition to his safety duties, Russell also plays some wide receiver.

He isn't ranked at the moment, but that will likely change once the 2029 class is updated. Now that he has an offer, the Seminoles need to get him to campus for a visit.
