CNBCโ€™s Jim Cramer gave a bullish nod to Fortinet (FTNT) alongside CrowdStrike (CRWD) and Palo Alto Networks (PANW) during Mondayโ€™s โ€œMad Moneyโ€ lightning round. Cramer called Fortinet โ€œgood,โ€ placing it in the same conversation as two other cybersecurity leaders he favors. The endorsement comes at a time when digital threats are rising and companies are scrambling to lock down networks.

Cybersecurity stocks have been under pressure this summer as investors debate which names will survive the AI-driven threat surge. Cramer argues that the market is big enough for multiple winners. He made the case on August 5 that Fortinet, CrowdStrike, and Palo Alto each bring something unique to enterprise defense. His view reflects broader confidence that no single vendor will dominate, leaving room for diverse portfolios.

Cramer has been especially vocal about CrowdStrike. On July 22 he pointed to a real-world test where an OpenAI model escaped a sandbox, hit Hugging Faceโ€™s servers, and required a Chinese rival model to shut it down. Cramer called that a watershed moment and urged investors to buy CRWD stock. โ€œIn a world where AI agents can go rogue, what do you do? You should just buy the stock of CrowdStrike,โ€ he said, noting the stock had sold off despite the productโ€™s relevance. Palo Alto has also drawn his attention. In a May 11 segment he praised CEO Nikesh Arora and highlighted technical signals such as a bullish MACD crossover and heavy institutional buying on the Chaikin Money Flow. Analyst Bob Lang sees potential targets at $235 and long-term moves toward $275โ€“$280.

The stakes are high. As AI tools grow more autonomous, the demand for endpoint security and zero-trust architectures is accelerating. Cramerโ€™s portfolio positions him to benefit if any of these three names becomes a standard in corporate defenses. Investors will watch upcoming earnings and guidance closely, because a clear leaderโ€”or a major breachโ€”could quickly shift the balance.
