Lindsay Clancy’s defense team asked Judge William Sullivan on Friday to end all sidebars and conduct the rest of the triple‑murder trial in open court, as the jury heads into its seventh day of deliberations. The motion comes after the jury received two “deadlock notes” indicating that the case is still far from a verdict.

Clancy, a Texas woman, was charged with the murders of her husband, a 20‑year‑old boyfriend, and a 12‑year‑old child in 2022. The trial began in March and has already seen six days of testimony, expert witnesses, and intense cross‑examination.
