Landry Shamet injury update: Knicks standout exits Game 5

New York Knicks guard Landry Shamet left Saturday night's NBA Finals Game 5 against the hosting San Antonio Spurs with what looked like a leg injury.

Shamet left the game but returned to the bench , although hobbled, during the game's fourth quarter, per The Athletic's James L. Edwards III.

Shamet is a key player for the Knicks in their NBA Finals run, so any absence from him would not be ideal for New York, particularly if there is a Game 6 and Game 7.

We'll see what happens with Shamet if he really doesn't return for the rest of Game 5.
