The company's earnings totaled C$27.9 million, or C$0.20 per share. This compares with C$27.2 million, or C$0.21 per share, last year.

Excluding items, MDA Space Ltd. reported adjusted earnings of C$51.8 million or C$0.36 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the period rose 33.6% to C$498.6 million from C$373.3 million last year.
