Google updates Pixel 11 phones for global FeliCa NFC payments

Google has expanded the NFC payment capabilities of its Pixel 11 smartphones, allowing them to support Japan’s FeliCa system globally. This update applies to the Pixel 11 Pro Fold and Pixel 11 models sold outside the United States. Previously, support for FeliCa was limited to Pixel phones sold in Japan. This was not due to a lack of hardware, as all Pixel devices have been equipped with the necessary technology.
