Nanoleaf wall panels integrate with Philips Hue app for enhanced control

Philips Hue and Nanoleaf have officially partnered to integrate Nanoleaf's wall panels into the Philips Hue ecosystem. This announcement was made during the IFA 2026 event, confirming speculation that surfaced earlier this year when an icon for hexagon-shaped panels appeared in the Hue app.

The partnership comes amid growing interest in smart home lighting solutions. Philips Hue has long been a leader in the market, while Nanoleaf is known for its innovative and customizable panel designs. Recent leaks hinted at this collaboration, suggesting that instead of launching new Philips Hue wall panels, the company would enable existing Nanoleaf products to work within its app. This move allows users to seamlessly incorporate Nanoleaf Hexagons, Triangles, and Mini Triangles into their existing Hue setups.

To control the Nanoleaf panels, users will need the Philips Hue Wall Light Module, which acts as the bridge between the two systems. This module, priced at $39.99, will enable users to manage the panels through the Hue app, allowing for the creation of personalized scenes, automations, and entertainment experiences. Additionally, starter kits that include Nanoleaf panels are available, starting at $199.99, although they are only sold in select markets.
