We’ve been seeing a lot of Googlebook leaks lately, ahead of the first models hitting store shelves later this year. Today, we’re getting a better look at Lenovo’s first entry into the category , as well as images that might be based on press renders of ASUS’s first Googlebook .

The new images come to us by way of Digital Citizen, which shared a handful of renders showing the unannounced Lenovo Googlebook 15 earlier this week . Today, the outlet’s shared more official-looking renders of that Lenovo laptop , plus some questionable images of the ASUS model .

First up: more views of the larger of Lenovo’s two Googlebooks. We’ve seen this laptop from every angle at this point, so there’s not much new information here. The images are nice and sharp, though, providing a good view of the machine’s ports and screen hinge.

Digital Citizen also shared a ton of images that, at a glance, seem to show ASUS’s upcoming Googlebook from every angle. But if you look a little closer, you’ll see that the images below are AI-generated . Details like status bar icons and characters on the laptop’s keyboard are squiggly nonsense; even the ASUS and Googlebook badging show heavy artifacting.

There are 14 images total in what Digital Citizen calls “a complete press render set for the ASUS Googlebook.” We’ve only shared a few here. The original report doesn’t acknowledge that the images are AI-generated.

It’s possible that, somewhere in the chain of custody of genuine press renders of the laptop, someone tried to use an AI upscaler, or to remove watermarks with an AI tool. So the images above may be based on press renders of the ASUS Googlebook, but they’re not quite legit. I wasn’t able to get in touch with Digital Citizen to get more information.

The first round of Android-based Googlebooks will be available this fall.
