Google to unveil new "Olive" color for Pixel Buds Pro 2

A leak has revealed that Google may soon announce a new color for its Pixel Buds Pro 2, named “Olive.” The information surfaced on Bluesky, where tech leaker Roland Quandt shared images that appear to be marketing material for the upcoming color variant. This announcement is expected to coincide with the Made by Google event scheduled for tomorrow.

The introduction of the Olive color follows a trend where Google aligns product colors with its latest smartphone releases. The Pixel 11 is rumored to feature two green color options, with one called “Moss” for the base model and “Pine” for the Pro versions. This strategy reflects Google's ongoing effort to create a cohesive aesthetic across its product lines, enhancing the appeal of both the earbuds and the smartphones.

In addition to the new color, the leaked images suggest that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will retain features such as active noise cancellation (ANC) and Silent Seal 2.0 technology. Once launched, the Olive variant will join the existing color options of Moonstone, Porcelain, Peony, and Hazel, bringing the total to five.
