Supergirl stars Milly Alcock as Kara, the rebellious cousin of Clark Kent’s Man Of Steel (David Corenswet). The pair were introduced in James Gunn ’s blockbuster Superman reboot last year and their story continues in Supergirl , which hits UK cinemas on June 25. To celebrate, Warner Bros. are taking over Phonica Records, which will be renamed Red Sun Records for the duration of the pop-up, and large scale event space The Vinyl Factory – both located in Soho.
As well as being able to browse an impressive selection of vinyl in Phonica, fans will also be able to pick up limited-edition merchandise and access a special portal that transports them to the immersive Supergirl experience hosted in The Vinyl Factory.
Once inside, you’ll be able to explore a recreation of Kara’s spaceship, eat at the intergalactic Rest Stop service station and take advantage of themed photo opportunities.
Dedicated Supergirl bar the Watering Holzherr will be populated with unsavoury alien patrons and serve custom drinks while evening DJ sets keep the party going. Over the course of the activation, fans will be able to meet the stars of the film too.

“[Kara’s] given this incredible responsibility and doesn’t know how to deal with it,” Alcock said in an interview with Vanity Fair . “So she kind of suffocates herself and goes on a journey of self-discovery. She’s not trying to save the world – she’s just trying to save her own. This film is an excellent reminder that the world can be crumbling around you, but you can be the hero of your own story.”
