81.4% of Pixel users urge Google to fix overheating, battery issues

A recent survey reveals that the majority of Google Pixel users want the tech giant to address specific hardware issues rather than simply making its phones thinner. Conducted by Android Authority, the survey highlighted that 81.4% of respondents prioritized fixing the overheating problem and stagnant battery capacity over weight reduction in future Pixel models.

This feedback comes in response to ongoing concerns about the Pixel line's design. Many users feel that the phones have become bulkier without significant improvements in performance. The survey found that 42.3% of participants identified overheating as the top issue, while 39% expressed dissatisfaction with the unchanged battery size across generations. This sentiment reflects a desire for better functionality instead of a focus on aesthetics.

Interestingly, only 14% of respondents chose the weight and thickness of the devices as their primary concern. This suggests that consumers are not completely opposed to heavier models; they simply want a justification for the extra weight. A smaller portion, 4.7%, indicated that exclusive features in Pro models were their main complaint, showing that this is a lesser concern among the user base.
