TCL is set to launch two new smartphones, the P80 and P80 Pro, as revealed by a recent leak from tech insider Roland Quandt. The leak includes images and specifications for both devices, which are expected to feature sleek, flagship-like designs with super-thin bezels. The P80 is described as a tan-colored model, while the gray P80 Pro will offer more advanced features.

This announcement comes shortly after TCL released the NXTPAPER version of its Tab A1 Plus, which has generated interest in the company's product lineup. The timing of the P80 series launch is strategic, as TCL aims to capture the mid-range smartphone market and compete with established brands. The P80 models are designed to offer premium aesthetics and performance without the flagship price tag.

The P80 Pro is expected to include a larger battery, more storage, and a faster processor compared to its base model counterpart. While specific details about the display of the P80 have not been disclosed, the P80 Pro is anticipated to integrate unique features, such as a side slider that may help users manage notifications or activate NXTPAPER mode. Pricing for the P80 Pro is set at approximately €350 (around $404 in the US), while the P80 is expected to retail for €300 (about $346).

As TCL prepares to unveil these new devices, the focus will be on how they perform in a competitive market. If successful, the P80 series could bolster TCL’s reputation for delivering stylish, high-quality smartphones at more accessible prices. The launch is likely to attract consumers looking for a balance between design and functionality, potentially reshaping TCL's standing within the mid-tier smartphone segment.
