(RTTNews) - Tenaris SA (TS) on Wednesday reported lower second-quarter earnings as revenue declined from a year earlier, while first-half revenue edged higher despite a slight drop in profit.
For the second quarter, revenue declined 3.9 percent to $2.97 billion from $3.09 billion a year earlier. Net income attributable to shareholders decreased to $477.14 million from $531.32 million. Operating income fell to $494.00 million from $582.73 million.
For the first half of 2026, revenue increased 1.0 percent to $6.07 billion from $6.01 billion in the prior-year period. Net income attributable to shareholders slipped to $1.02 billion from $1.04 billion.
Operating income declined to $1.08 billion from $1.13 billion, while income before income tax was $1.24 billion, compared with $1.25 billion a year earlier.
TS is currently trading after hours at $54.77, down $2.28 or 4.00 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
