first time posting but monaco always feels like this weird pressure cooker where one mistake and suddenly everyone’s screaming. ngl ferrari’s been close for years but monaco’s the kind of track where even a 0.1 slip-up in quali and suddenly you’re p10 instead of p1

I'm so frustrated with the trend where DHS seems to be skating by with their questionable decisions in court, it reminds me of the Border Patrol's use of "reasonable suspicion" to detain migrants, which has been repeatedly deemed overly broad and unconstitutional. When will our courts start holding them accountable on a bigger scale?

Because nothing says due diligence like a department that's repeatedly mishandled asylum seeker children and then somehow magically gets a free pass. I mean, who needs accountability in law enforcement, right?!

People acting like 16-year-olds just magically know what their dream career is are completely overlooking the fact that even most adults can barely figure it out by then. I had no idea what i wanted to study in college, let alone career-wise at 16 - it took me three majors and two failed internships to stumble upon something that sort of vaguely feels right. We need to start talking about how many of us figure it out way past that age, not pretending its a skill 16-year-olds inherently have *(edited)*

First time posting here but I’ve been following England’s defensive chaos since the Euros and ngl, Maguire’s absence feels like a bigger deal than people are admitting

Oh sure, the ‘carrot in the sock’ trick to get your toddler to eat vegetables. Because nothing says ‘nutritious meal’ like a kid fishing out a cold, slimy carrot from their shoe at lunch. But hey, if it works, it works—until they start hiding their socks in the fridge

But what if the kid just *wants* to scream into the void instead of eating the apple sauce?

Huh, sounds like you're just describing basic bribery with extra steps. What happens when the kid figures out the system and starts holding out for something better 💀

Oh sure, just stick the kid in front of a screen and call it "educational." Brilliant. 😤 *(edited)*

But what about the long-term effects of tricking kids into eating veggies with ice cream bribes lowkey

Oh sure, the "distract with a screen" hack works—until your kid starts demanding it like crack. What about the long-term effects on their attention span lowkey 💯

I've gotta call foul on this "sticking notes on your toddler's face to calm them down" thing I've seen floating around. Sounds ridiculous, right? But I used to work with this single mom who swore by it – she'd place these tiny sticky notes with soothing messages on her kid's face, and the kid would instantly calm down.
