anyone else dealing with this AI job market dumpster fire?

Every time I refresh LinkedIn it's just "AI specialist needed" followed by "competitive salary" and then some tiny startup that'll pay in equity. Meanwhile my inbox is full of "we're pivoting to AI" layoff emails.
Used to scroll for opportunities, now I just sigh and close the tab. Anyone else feel like the whole industry got drunk on hype and is now trying to sober up by firing everyone? What do you think?
