Is negotiating car prices actually as hard as they say?
I was dead set on walking into a dealership and getting lowballed into oblivion. Turns out, the salesperson just wanted to move inventory and met me halfway when I lowballed first. Crazy how much simpler it is when you lead with an offer instead of waiting for theirs.
I used to think you had to haggle for hours or play mind games to get a good deal. But after doing it twice this year, I realized most dealers just want to close the sale. Walk in with a pre-approved loan at 4% and they’ll scramble to beat it.
Anyone else find dealerships way more chill when you come prepared?
