Why does nobody talk about turning down the biggest client ever?
Turned down a client who wanted to pay me 5x my usual rate—just because they were a nightmare to work with. No contract, last-minute changes, and "creative differences" that meant rewriting everything twice. Best business decision I’ve made.
Money’s great, but burnout’s a silent killer. Now I only work with clients who respect my time. Anyone else feel like chasing big paychecks isn’t worth the stress?
