What subjects actually matter most for pre-med if you hate memorization?
If you're like me and despise rote memorization, picking the right pre-med subjects can feel like a trap. Turns out, biochem and physiology are non-negotiable, but physics and organic chem? Overrated if you're not into them. Focused on the ones that build critical thinking instead.
I bombed my first gen chem class but aced anatomy by drawing diagrams instead of cramming. Turns out, spatial learning > flashcards for me. Now I'm in med school and the classes that clicked were the ones where I could visualize systems, not just regurgitate facts.
What subjects tripped you up in pre-med? Anyone else find a way to avoid the memorization grind?
