CoreWeave's stock has surged 163% since its initial public offering (IPO) in March 2022. The company, which specializes in providing dedicated AI data centers, has seen its shares rise dramatically amid growing demand for its services. Despite experiencing volatility and a 42% drop from its 52-week high in October 2022, CoreWeave's strong quarterly earnings and robust revenue backlog have reinvigorated investor interest.

The recent momentum comes as CoreWeave reported a 112% year-over-year revenue increase for the second quarter, reaching $2.58 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations of $2.56 billion. The company also managed to reduce its adjusted loss per share to $1.03, better than the anticipated $1.20 loss. CoreWeave has revised its revenue guidance for 2026, now forecasting between $12.4 billion and $13.2 billion, an increase from its previous estimate. This optimism is fueled by a growing backlog of contracts, which climbed from $30.1 billion a year ago to $104.2 billion in the latest quarter.

Additionally, CoreWeave has secured $25 billion in new customer commitments just this quarter, reflecting its strong market position. The companyโ€™s ability to attract significant deals from major players in the AI sector indicates that demand for its services will continue to rise. Investors are particularly optimistic about CoreWeave's potential to deliver substantial returns in the coming years, given its current trajectory and market conditions.

Looking ahead, CoreWeave's growth potential appears strong, positioning it as a key player in the rapidly expanding AI industry. As the company continues to build its revenue backlog and secure new contracts, it could emerge as a multibagger stock by 2028. With the AI market expected to grow significantly, CoreWeave's ability to capitalize on this trend makes it an attractive option for investors seeking growth in their portfolios.
