NanoCo has launched a new Slack integration for its NanoClaw AI platform, letting teams spin up entire groups of autonomous agents from a single message. The feature creates agents with distinct skills, workflows, and even custom avatars that can collaborate inside Slack channels, on shared Canvases, or via other messaging apps like Telegram and WhatsApp. The integration aims to simplify what has traditionally been a clunky process of deploying AI helpers in workplace chat.
The move follows NanoCoโs earlier openโsource work on the Open Source Autonomous Agent (OpenClaw) and its enterpriseโfriendly NanoClaw version. VentureBeatโs own trials showed that adding AI agents to Slack can be complex and slow, often requiring code or configuration. NanoCoโs new tool removes those hurdles, offering a oneโclick workflow that anyone on a team can use. CEO and coโfounder Gavriel Cohen told VentureBeat that in the next 12 to 18 months every team member will be a manager of agents, turning AI assistants into a standard part of daily collaboration.
NanoClawโs agents can be tailored to specific tasks, such as scheduling, data analysis, or customer support, and they can coordinate automatically across multiple channels. The system also supports crossโplatform messaging, so an agent can be pinged from outside Slack and still respond within the teamโs workflow. By lowering the technical barrier, NanoCo hopes to accelerate the adoption of AI agents in enterprise settings, making them as routine as sending an email. The integration could reshape how companies delegate repetitive tasks and streamline project management, positioning NanoCo as a key player in the growing AIโenabled workplace ecosystem.
