Salesforce issues revenue target of over $63 billion for fiscal 2030, beating estimates

During its session with analysts and investors at Dreamforce, Salesforce issued a revenue forecast for fiscal 2030 of over $63 billion, topping analysts' estimates.

The software vendor was expected to reach annual sales of $59.2 billion by that time, according to analysts polled by LSEG.

This year's Dreamforce lands at a pivotal moment for Salesforce, which has been through a rocky year due to concerns about artificial intelligence hurting its business. But it's rebounded of late.

"There's certain moments in our industry where everything is changing, and this is that moment for enterprise," CEO Marc Benioff said at the event.

The SaaSpocalypse narrative , which started gaining traction in 2025, punished Salesforce and other software companies as frontier AI models became increasingly powerful. In its latest earnings report last month, Salesforce quieted the skeptics by reporting better-than-expected results and issuing an uplifting forecast.

Profit was boosted by a $2.6 billion gain on strategic investments after the company bet on Anthropic. The stock jumped almost 23%, its best performance since 2020. Salesforce also announced Claudeforce , which allows organizations to work with Salesforce data in Anthropic's Claude.

Days earlier, Benioff bragged about two executives who were returning to Salesforce after stints at OpenAI.

Benioff kicked off Dreamforce this week by bringing on stage the AI industry's most powerful executives, including OpenAI's Sam Altman, Anthropic's Dario Amodei and Nvidia's Jensen Huang. Salesforce executives promoted a new AI reasoning model called Koa that's based on a model from Nvidia, and they showed off elaborate custom dashboards containing Salesforce data that's accessible in Claude.
