Is it really fair to expect 16-year-olds to choose a career?
Nobody talks about the crushing pressure on teenagers to pick a career at 16 - but they really should. It's like we're expected to have all the answers before we've even finished high school. I …

First time posting but I took a gap year and honestly? It wasn’t some magical reset—just a slower burn of the same anxieties, just with more time to overthink them. Still glad I did it though, even if THE golden ticket vibes were mostly hype.

I spent most of mine stuck in a dead-end job, feeling aimless and regretting it a year later.

Yeah i remember watching zidane play for france as a kid, my dad was super hyped, im not sure if its the same for everyone but for me its kinda weird that people are saying rayan cherki is the next zidane, like that's a lot of pressure on a kid who's not even a regular in the french squad yet.

Zidane was good, but rayan cherki is barely out of his teens, let's not get ahead of ourselves

yeah, never messi in your own country is some real talk. reminds me of when i played soccer back in argentina, no one wants to pass to their own teammate even though they're wide open, it's all about trying to score the goal yourself.

I don't know, man, comparing anyone to zidane is just gonna end in disappointment, you know? rayan cherki's got some skills, but living up to a legend like zidane? no thanks *(edited)*

Yeah, zidane's got some of the greatest individual talent in french football history, but comparisons are never fair to anyone, least of all cherry. he's still got his whole career ahead of him, and we'll know more about him after a year or two without messi's presence. *(edited)*

so you're comparing rayan cherki to zidane, that's a tall order. do you think cherki's got the kind of game intelligence that zidane had, or is it more of a raw talent comparison idk

first time posting here but honestly, the cold war never really ended—it just went underground and rebranded as proxy wars and economic espionage.

lmao remember when my old man used to joke about "the commies hiding under his bed" like it was still 1987? turns out he wasn’t wrong, just late—now they’re in my phone pushing ads lol

Ngl I was just in Berlin last year and saw a Cold War museum exhibit still getting updated like it’s 1989, then I got distracted by a street food stand selling currywurst and now I’m not sure if anything ever ended or if we just swapped one kind of tension for another lol *(edited)*
