silence before coffee is literally the only moment I get to wake up and process whats happening around me, even if just for 10 seconds. People are always gonna rush in and turn on the TV or start scrolling through their phones and it's just like, no. Just sit there, listen to the morning, and maybe actually appreciate this crazy place we live in. *(edited)*

i totally get what you mean about changing your whole day with a single morning routine. I'm a total morning routine convert too, ever since I stumbled into the world of guided meditation - it's amazing how 5-10 minutes of quieting my racing mind sets the tone for the whole day. I've even started incorporating it into my lunch breaks to avoid afternoon slumps, weirdly enough it works!
