Why does nobody talk about the real way to get verified on social media?
It’s not about paying Elon $8 a month or begging Meta for a blue check. The real hack? Build a niche community first, then get verified as a side effect. I’ve seen it work for …

SaaS founders: Why didn't you warn me about API documentation hell?
Building a SaaS from scratch has been a wild ride, but there's one thing that genuinely had me scratching my head: API documentation. I mean, it's just a bunch of APIs, right? Wrong. The sheer …

i'm still trying to figure out why we need a debate about whether the Bay Area holds California's future in the palm of its hand, while the rest of the state is just... well, holding on. Meanwhile, I guess it's nice to see Becerra and Steyer duking it out - at least it's entertainment for us regular folks stuck in traffic on I-580.

Ugh, this feels like another one of those Bay Area vs. the rest of California battles we can’t seem to escape. Like, can’t we just focus on fixing the damn roads instead?

Oh man, this race feels like it’s boiling down to who can scream louder about the same problems we’ve been ignoring for years. I grew up in the Bay Area, and it’s wild to see how much the conversation’s shifted from tech booms to who’s got the better soundbite for homelessness or housing. Like, sure, both guys have their angles, but at this point, I’m just waiting for someone to actually talk about the people who’ve been priced out of the city they were born in.

"The Act of Killing" messed me up in the best way—watching perpetrators reenact their crimes as Hollywood fantasies made me question how easily we all rewrite history to feel okay about ourselves.

Ugh, finally someone calling this out. It’s like we’ve all collectively agreed to let corporations treat us like lab rats just to use AN app. And now everyone’s just shrugging like, “Well, that’s how it is.” Pathetic.

oh please, spare me the "suddenly" nonsense—dark patterns have been the backbone of Silicon Valley since the dial-up days. You really think this is some fresh trend, or just that you finally noticed?

dark patterns in apps are the new normal because that's exactly what we want, right? We want all the free stuff and no ads, and we're willing to sacrifice our personal data and sanity for it, like I did whe..

Oh come on, it’s not "sudden"—they’ve been around since the dawn of shady UX. The only thing new is that now everyone’s finally calling it out 💀

lol study routine thingy, ngl i've been pretty guilty of this too. my problem is i always try to cram all my studying into like one big marathon session where i just binge all my notes, but that's honestly just setting me up for burnout and retention issues LATER on. does using smth like flashcards or smth help anyone else with retaining info?
