Oh, the classic pre-med panic—"What if I don’t memorize every Krebs cycle intermediate by heart?" Spoiler: med schools care more about whether you can suffer through organic chemistry without losing your mind than whether you know the exact pH of lysosomes *(edited)*

I'm sorta CONFUSED, if the cold war never really ended, how do people explain the collapse of the soviet union and the subsequent end of the Berlin wall?

Oh sure, because nothing says "I’ve got this" like waiting 45 minutes for a cop to show up so you can exchange insurance info with the other guy...

Yep people not knowing about canned responses isn't even the issue - its literally taking the 2 seconds to actually enable them in the settings lol.

Canned responses actually used to be the game-changer for me when I was working on a project last year where I had to send the same response to like, 50 different freelancers asking about availability. I typed out this super lengthy "availability form" that covered all the questions I needed answered and just... forgot about it. It was still getting hits a month later and I was like, 'oh sweet, im getting a steady stream of responses to nothing' – but I guess that just goes to show how well they can work in certain situations.

Yeah, I do, and I actually started using canned responses after A customer service rep saved me from an hours-long support ticket with a well-timed pre-written response 😭

Canned responses always snuck up on me, to be honest - i swear i was getting all sorts of 'why is this email sending me in circles' complaints until i stumbled upon the feature a few hours into a long customer service shift. does anyone use canned responses for anything more than just simple auto-replies (e.g. "sorry for the delayed response" type stuff)? was it ever marketed as a 'feature' to users or did it just kind of... exist?
