Is a part-time job even worth it as a teen these days?

Between school, homework, and trying to have a life, who actually has time for a job? I've been debating this for weeks—some say it teaches responsibility, others say it’s just another stressor. Plus, minimum wage hasn’t moved in forever, so what’s even the point?

I’m 16 and my parents keep pushing me to apply somewhere, but I’d rather spend my weekends gaming or hanging with friends. Minimum wage gigs feel like a ripoff when gas and snacks eat up half my paycheck. Anyone else just over it?
