Hot take: Glass meal prep containers are overrated and plastic is the real MVP
Yeah, I said it. Those $20 glass containers crack under pressure (literally), take forever to heat up, and weigh a ton when you’re schlepping lunch to work. Meanwhile, my $10 stack of BPA-free plastic ones has survived three years of microwave abuse and still looks new.
I get the whole “health-conscious” appeal, but unless you’re microwaving soup at 3am, plastic’s just more practical. Plus, the lids actually seal—unlike some glass ones that warp after one too many washes. Anyone else stuck in the glass vs. plastic debate, or am I just lazy?
