Public Holidays by Country — Dates, Long Weekends and Calendar Export
Pick a country and a year and see every public holiday with its date, weekday and local name. A countdown shows how many days until the next one, and each holiday is checked against the calendar so you can spot long weekends and bridge days — for example a Monday holiday that gives you three days off, or a Thursday one that becomes four with a single day of leave.
Search by holiday name, see which holidays fall on a weekend, and find the busiest month. When you are done, click Add to my calendar to download an .ics file that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook, or export CSV or copy the list. Regional holidays that apply only to certain states or counties are labelled. Data comes from the Nager.Date public-holiday service.

Frequently asked questions

More than 100, listed in the country menu.
What is a bridge day?
A working day between a holiday and the weekend — taking it off makes a four-day break.
How do I add the holidays to my calendar?
Click Add to my calendar; open the downloaded .ics file or import it into Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar.
Why is a holiday missing or on a different date?
By default only public (bank) holidays are listed — tick the box to include observances, school and optional days. When a holiday falls on a weekend the data lists the day it is observed, for example US Independence Day 2026 on Friday 3 July.
Are the dates official?
They come from a public data service; confirm with your government or employer for important plans.
Does it work for the current year?
Yes, and for the previous year and the next two.
